"The Bad Lieutenant 2009" - Oscar winner Nicolas Cage ("Leaving Las Vegas") stars in the lead, as "The Bad Lieutenant," a remake of the 1992 film of the same name.

The original film starred Harvey Keitel and was directed by Abel Ferrara from a screenplay by Abel Ferrara. That film received an NC-17 rating with the depraved title character heavily involved in drugs, gambling, sex and stealing while a New York police officer. It also featured a prominent scene of Harvey Kietel in full frontal mode. The movie did not do any wonders for Abel Ferrara nor Harvey Kietel? What have they done of any significance since?
